Netlist products are reliable and meet or exceed the expectations and requirements of our customers. We achieve this with a total quality philosophy that is supported by state-of-the-art facilities and processes:
- In-house manufacturing. All products are manufactured at our ISO-certified and tier-one OEM-approved facilities in Irvine, California and in Suzhou, China. Our combined facilities currently produce over one million high-density memory modules annually.
- Third-party validation. Netlist is third-party validated for ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems, ISO 14001:1996 environmental health and safety management systems, and OSHAS 18001:1999 safety.
- Comprehensive processes. Netlist utilizes temperature screening, a 100% test filter, and flexible manufacturing that are optimized for fast turn and product customization.
- Quality components. Netlist uses industrial temperature-rated components; we do not merely screen-out products manufactured with commercial temperature-rated components. We source directly from the manufacturer, not from the grey market.
State-of-the-art manufacturing and testing equipment and procedures are used in every step of Netlist's manufacturing operation. Advanced and high speed Philips/Assembeon
equipment is used for the SMT assembly process. Highly effective solder paste printing inspection is achieved with 100% in-line 3D Automated Optical Inspection systems. Real-time digital X-ray inspection is an integral part of the First Article verification process.

Every Netlist product undergoes rigorous functional testing. To ensure functionality in the specific application, all modules are system-tested at high temperatures using proprietary test software and/or test suites supplied by the OEM customer.
Operations works closely with Engineering in new product development, providing DFX input into conceptual designs, building prototypes, and offering DFM feedback to facilitate high-volume capabilities. They are equally involved in the design and development of test requirements and proving out new manufacturing technologies such as board-level embedded passives, small component packaging, and advanced PCB materials.
Material management is a critical component of the quality policy at Netlist. JIT purchasing, KanBan material management, and supplier quality systems are keys to maintaining high-volume, quick-turn, and upside fulfillment capabilities in a custom-solution manufacturing environment.
